Privacy Policy

QuickEpic Video is an AI tool that turns text prompts (and optionally a website you point us to) into motion-graphic videos. This policy explains what information QuickEpic (“we,” “us”) collects when you use the product, how we use it, and the choices you have.

By using QuickEpic Video, you agree to the practices described here. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

We collect the following categories of information:

• Account information. Your name, email address, and profile details. If you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email, and profile picture from Google — never your Google password.
• Content you create. The prompts you write, any website URLs or assets you provide, and the videos, scripts, and chat history generated from them.
• Billing information. Your plan, credit balance, and transaction history. Card details are entered directly with our payment processor — we never see or store your full card number.
• Technical information. Basic data your browser and our servers exchange to run the app, such as your IP address, device and browser type, and timestamps, plus logs we keep to debug problems and prevent abuse.

We use your information to:

• Provide the service — generate, render, and let you download your videos.
• Manage your account, plan, credits, and payments.
• Keep the service secure, prevent abuse, and enforce usage limits.
• Fix bugs, improve quality, and provide support.
• Send you essential service messages (for example, receipts or important account notices).

We do not sell your personal information or your content.

To generate a video, we send your prompt — and any URL or asset you provide — to third-party AI model providers. This processing is essential to delivering the core feature you asked for.

We instruct our AI providers not to use your content to train their models, and we use zero-data-retention options where they are available. We do not use your prompts or generated videos to train our own models.

When you ask us to build a video from a website, we fetch publicly available content from that URL to use in your video. Only provide URLs you have the right to use.

We share data with a small set of vetted providers who process it on our behalf, only as needed to run QuickEpic Video:

We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights or users' safety, or in connection with a merger or acquisition.

We use only the cookies and browser storage needed to make the app work — there are no advertising or third-party tracking cookies, and we don't run analytics trackers.

• Authentication cookies. Keep you signed in across pages and visits.
• Local storage. Holds app state on your device — a draft prompt on its way to the studio, your in-progress session so it survives a refresh, and your last-used settings.

We keep your account information for as long as your account is active. Your generated content and chat history are kept according to your plan (some plans save chats and snapshots; others don't), and in-progress sessions stored on your device expire automatically after a short window.

We retain billing and transaction records for as long as required by law (for example, for tax and accounting). When you delete your account, we delete or anonymize your personal data, except where we're legally required to keep it.

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal information we hold about you.
• Correct information that's inaccurate or out of date.
• Delete your account and associated personal data.
• Export a copy of your data.
• Object to or restrict certain processing, and withdraw consent.

We protect your data with industry-standard measures, including encryption in transit (HTTPS), authentication handled by Supabase, and payment data handled directly by our PCI-compliant payment processor. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to keep your information safe and to respond quickly if something goes wrong.

Our providers may store and process data in the United States and other countries. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards (such as Standard Contractual Clauses) to protect your information when it crosses borders.

QuickEpic Video is not intended for anyone under 16. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has given us their data, contact us and we'll delete it.

We may update this policy as the product evolves. When we do, we'll change the “last updated” date above, and we'll tell you about material changes through the app or by email.
